AED (DEFIBRILLATOR) INSPECTION

ESS recommends an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) inspection on a monthly basis, to make sure that it is ready for use, when you really need it.

Our knowledgeable representatives will perform a 13-point AED inspection that verifies the unit is working properly and batteries and electrodes are intact and not expired.

A few points that this service will include:

  •  Inspection of the unit. Free from damage from excessive wear or corrosion and that there are no cracks or loose parts.
  • Turn unit on and off making sure it is ready for use at the time of inspection.
  • Leave a hard copy of the inspection service with the customer.
  • Giving you peace of mind.

We offer regular maintenance inspections monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or as frequently as desired. Please contact our office for more information and how we can help your business.

FIRST AID KIT INSPECTION

Federal and Provincial regulations specify minimum requirements that employers meet in order to ensure worksites have the equipment and supplies needed to provide first aid care in the event of a workplace illness or injury. (Regulation 1101)

Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations specify that the employer shall:

  • inspect every first aid station regularly (at least quarterly), and
  • ensure that contents are maintained in a clean, dry and serviceable condition.

Essential Safety Services works with each of our clients to create an inspection program that works best for your business. Making sure your first aid kits are inspected on a consistent basis to ensure they are stocked with the products your employees may need during an emergency.
