WORKING AT HEIGHTS – REFRESHER

Course Description:

This Working at Heights Refresher course provides workers with a review of the basic fall prevention information they require to work safely at heights. Participants receive the most up-to-date information with hands-on instruction from industry experts and trained adult educators who are experienced in working at heights.

The Ontario Ministry of Labour (MOL) requires workers to complete an approved half-day Working at Heights refresher training course after three years.

Course Content:

This course consists of a combination of classroom and hands-on learning activities.

  • Fall prevention methods and equipment
  • Personal fall protection systems and rescue
  • Safe use of access structures, ladders, scaffolds, etc.

Course Requirements:

  1. Students must present their Learners ID# on their Ministry of Labour issued Working at Heights card at the time of the training.
  2. Legal Photo ID must be provided upon arrival (Driver’s license, Passport, Student card etc.)

Who Should Attend:

Any worker who has successfully completed an approved Working at Heights training program, and prior to the 3 year expiry. (O. Reg. 213/91, section 26)
