The Ladder Safety course by Essential Safety Services is designed to create awareness for how to safely use a ladder at home or on a construction worksite.

Course Description:

Falls from ladders are common to all trades and pose one of the most serious safety problems in the workplace. This course is intended to increase awareness when using ladders in the workplace or at home.

Note:Group Rates are also available.

Course Content:

This course consists of classroom and optional hands-on learning activities

  • Types of ladders and their uses
  • Ladder inspection and maintenance
  • Setting up various types of ladders
  • Guidelines for safe ladder use

Who Should Attend:

People who use ladders and supervisors responsible to train personnel (O. Reg. 213/91, O. Reg. 851)
