FIRST AID & CPR/AED – STANDARD

Standard level first aid and CPR safety training course provided by Essential Safety Services.

Course Description:

Our Standard First Aid and CPR/AED is a comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training for work requirements, or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. The course covers a variety of topics from basic (circulation and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission), to in-depth (sudden medical emergencies and injuries to the head and/or spine).

Note: The only difference between A/C is the level of CPR that is done.

  • Shock
  • Choking – Adult (Level C Additional: Children and Infants)
  • Assisting with Medications

  • CPR/AED – Adult (Level C Additional: Children and Infants)
  • Compression-Only CPR
  • Life-threatening External Bleeding & Internal Bleeding
  • Wound Care Head and Spine Injuries
  • Bone, Muscle, and Joint Injuries Sudden
  • Medical Emergencies
  • Environmental Emergencies
  • Poisons
